Bible prophecy coming true?

Posted in religion, Spirituality, Thoughts on February 28, 2010 by maryrestaino

 Matthew 24

4Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, 5for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many. 6And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. 7Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. 8But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.

Today’s prayer

Lord, I thank you today for my many blessings

And pray that I make use of your gifts

To help myself

And others

It wasn’t about me

As imperfect beings

Living in an imperfect world

We let each other down

Sometimes we meet

Only to come together for a short time

On our journey through this life

You played your part in my life, changing me

Then moved on to someone new

To play a part in their life

Our Creator meant it to be this way

Or it would not be so

The Divine plan

Is wider and grander

Than my own

Energize your soul

Are you feeling tired? I was feeling very tired today. I think it was more than just a physical tired, but a spiritual tired. I need to pray and meditate more to energize my soul.

I am reminded of this Bible quote: Come to me all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

Lately, I find myself worrying about my life. What will I do about this situation or that. What came to mind is this quote from the Bible.
“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”
The new testament, Matthew|6:24–33

How to develop your hidden psychic abilities

How to develop your psychic abilities

You may think that only a chosen few have the “gift” of psychic abilities. This is simply untrue. All of us have psychic abilities to some degree. Have you ever had a sudden strong feeling a friend or loved one is in trouble, only to get a phone call that something really happened? With practice and patience, you can tap into your own hidden psychic abilities. Try these simple exercises:
1. Positive affirmations – Imagine and tell yourself you have psychic abilities. Repeat positive affirmations to yourself throughout your day. Create your own affirmations or look them up on the Internet. Research has shown that having a positive attitude tends to enhance a person’s ability to expand consciousness to a new level.
2. Trust your intuitions – When you feel uncertain or uneasy, ask yourself why. Accept your answers. Always listen to your inner voice, it will rarely steer you wrong.
3. Listen to your body – Tune in to what your body is telling you. If you are tired, get some rest. If you are thirsty, have something to drink. Ignoring what your body is trying to tell you creates confusion within your mind and body.
4. Self-care – Make time for leisure and recreational activities. Try new hobbies and explore new interests. Exploring your creative side will help your mind be open to new possibilities.
5. Relax – Learn to relax, quiet your mind and tune out distractions from your outer environment. This will allow you to tune in more clearly to energies from a single source.
6. Auras – When you see someone, ask yourself what color is surrounding them and trust the answer that comes to your mind. Everyone has an aura. Auras are colors created by energy fields radiated off an individual and are a significant clue to that person’s spiritual state. You can research auras to learn what each color signifies and to learn how to develop your vision so you are able to see auras.
7. Read books, articles and consider taking a psychic development course – Research the subject of psychic abilities as you would any subject you want to learn about. Remember not to put too much pressure on yourself. You already have psychic abilities; you are only seeking to expand and develop them.
Psychic abilities fluctuate; it is not something you can turn on with a switch. You will be able to obtain information hidden from your senses with increasing frequency if you practice psychic development exercises consistently.
